Sis first time to beach

Went to the muara beach today..
coz my two sakai sis told me they never been to the beach since they were born.. haha

Season hi-tea

Went hi-tea in season this afternoon.
Bnd 15 per person..
Worth the money as many choices of food..
The hi-tea starts at 2 pm to 5:30 pm everyday.
Was told would be more expensive (Bnd 20) during the weekends,
but more food will be served.

Many cakes they serve

Baked cheese cake, choco brownies, opera, pandan cake, blueberry cake, double choco cake, carrot cake, strawberry mousse cake, ah mok's cake and more

Also have dim sum
only siu mai, char siew pau and crab-stick siu mai (don't know what's that call)

Beef and chicken satay

This is nice!
Bubur barley (barley porridge)
Barley cooked with coconut milk and I think is healthy eating this..

Choco and strawberry ice cream with dark and white choco sauce, choco chips and almond flakes
Was told the ice cream is the same like those sold in the piano lounge
nYum ~
How good if they also serve different flavors like those sold in piano lounge..haha

Other than that,
they also have nasi lemak, kuay tiaw, murtabak, pancakes, beef curry, rojak, porridge, coleslaw salad, potato salad, laksa, cucur pisang, cucur udang, salad prawn, freshly made potato wedges, bread with cheese and tuna.....

For dessert, they also have abc, bread pudding, donut, mango pudding (yum~)...

That's all I can remember.. haha

but too bad they didn't have their popular fruit tart this time.
Normally cost bnd 2.20 for three tarts in piano lounge..
fussy ah me.. haha

Then, went to the newly opened and future tourist attraction place somewhere in Tungku link (old LiangToon block), a place where souvenirs are sold to the tourists..

Other than that,
they also have malay traditional wedding costumes there where ppl can try out and take pictures (It's free !)
They also have a special album where you can keep the picture taken, only cost bnd 3..

Feeling bad

I've found a job and I lost the job..
Found the job through my friend..
Went to an interview yesterday and was told that the job involves going to the bank and meeting some government ppl. Sound quite interesting and I could learn quite a lot and get a chance to know the ppl who work in the government and bank. But in the end, I withdrew, I quit. Feeling bad now..

Tried making Tofu fah yesterday, but failed !
Wondering where I gone wrong coz I follow all the steps wisely. Or maybe coz of the starch I used. Hmm.. What is the difference between corn starch and starch? Aren't they the same?
I gona try again later on if I get the ingredients..

Yesterday got a tour. First time ever, I got only one tourist. He's a Taiwan guy. I was the driver and drove him around in Brunei. He is a photographer. And first time ever, I went up to Rizqun's 7th floor and realized the balcony there has a very good view and good sight of "half" gdg. It is also a nice place for tea where you can enjoy, relieve stress, stars sighting.. Ah, and also a good place to pakto.. haha.. Quiet and romantic oh.....

Not gona see her for one or two years time unless I make a visit to KL..
and I started to miss her now, her laughter, her funny stories....

Midnight, eating dim sum in Dynasty.
So fattening yet the dim sum are nice, lil bit disappointed as they didn't have egg tart.
One of the waiter there told us that they will have a daytime dim sum buffet on June 29 for the celebration of the "not sure" event.
So, I think eating dimsum daytime would be a lot better and healthier.
Ah, coincidently I met ck and bunute gang there as well.

Love eating this. Ate 3 bowls but too full to consume more

Night having steamboat with ma old classmates,
in red chili..
The steamboat there not as nice as last time.
Quite disappointed with their dessert this time,
coz I rmb last time they had blackforest cake and carrot cake and also other unknown cakes,
which they don't have it now =(
but overall is still ok
I'll still visit there for their bbq beef..

I'll not forget the "splatting" of the tofu on the shinny shoes.. lol

Too much ice cream

Piano lounge's ice cream always the best !
Love it love it.. haha
Only bnd 2.50 with the waffle cone. Yum ~
Mine was mint chocolate chips and cch one was yam the yummy.
But, my friend ah kiat always says first emporium has the best ice cream.
Maybe I should try the ice cream there one day.

It was not so bad, but
I still prefer piano lounge's
It is cheaper and I really like the waffle cone =)

We went for movie.
We watched Kung fu panda.
The movie was not bad, funny, nice backgrounds, cute animals especially the pigs.. haha
I could hear everyone in the cinema was laughing including mushroom.
She was laughing so loud from the beginning till the end of the movie,
she even said she almost cried as the characters were too funny
But,
I felt so bad that...
I just watched 30% of the movie as most of the time in the cinema I was dozing off like a pig..
and only woke up when the movie had finished.
What I could hear was cch's voice laughing and also the others behind
I was trying my best to stay awake but my eye lids were just too heavy to let me watch the movie..
Grr..
I need to buy the dvd again..

Beach party

Had a memorable day in Berakas beach, with nice food, nice ppl, nice scenery and cool weather..

Took some pictures and so, the rest I'll let the pictures tell the story..

Reached there around 8++ and while waiting for the charcoal to come,
the four of us went down to the beach.....

For the bbq food
we had chicken wings, chicken drumsticks, crabstick, fish and cuttlefish balls, lamb chop, marshmallow, chicken ass..
and also the big and fat chicken and corn sausage (from the pic) bought by Dr. Linda..
Supasave own made sausage.
The sausage was not cheap also.
Saw on the packet, only 5 parts (equal 5 pieces) and it costs bnd 10.94 from Supasave.
Most of us there were too sakai and didn't really know how to bbq the big sausage..lol
First, we thought we had to remove the transparent thingy
but we were wrong !
Ermm..
when trying the sausage,
I think it was not really nice.. haha
The meat texture, I think it is too hard and
the meat not totally minced..

and I've learned another thing from my malay friend,
the malay way of brushing honey onto the chicken wings by using lemongrass instead of using a brush..
According to geok, using this method,
there's no need for us to wash the brush which is hard to clean,
is also environmental friendly
and according to my malay friends,
using lemongrass which is a kind of spice helps making the chicken wings taste nicer
