Baked a beef lasagna today. It's yummy! I don't lie. =)
Here is the recipe (can be found at the back of San Remo instant lasagna).
But, I am typing this out so that I can remember them and I am bored. hehe..
Ingredients (Meat sauce):
- 250 g Instant Lasagna
- 2 tbsp oil
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 1 carrot, finely chopped
- 1 celery, finely chopped
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- 500 g minced beef
- 5 tbsp tomato sauce
- 1 x 400 g canned tomatoes
- 1 cube chicken stock
- dashed of salt and pepper to taste
Ingredients (Cheese sauce):
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp plain flour
- 2 cups milk
- 125 g mozzarella cheese
Meat sauce:
- Heat oil in saucepan.
- Add carrot, onion, celery and garlic and cook until soft.
- Add minced beef and cook until brown.
- Stir in tomato sauce and canned tomato and chicken stock.
- seasoned with salt and pepper
- cover and cook gently for about 20 minutes
Cheese sauce:
- melt butter in another clean saucepan
- stir in flour and cook for 2 minutes over gentle heat
- remove from heat, stir in milk and stir until thick and smooth
- season with salt, pepper and add mozzarella cheese
- stir until low heat until cheese melts
Lasagna:
- preheat oven to 180 degree celsius
- spread lasagna sheet onto the greased baking dish
- spread meat sauce, cheese sauce
- continue, alternate layers of lasagna, meat sauce and cheese sauce, ending with cheese sauce layer (about 4 layers per dish)
- sprinkle with grated parmesan cheese
- bake in oven for about 35 to 40 minutes
